Gorgeous Andrea Conti leather combat boots with a taller shaft! These wonderfully simple yet stylish boots are made of exceptionally soft leather and are comfortable to wear. The brown sole adds a nice edge to the shoes’ otherwise black look. The ankle boots have a wide fit and a fairly rounded toe, and the soft leather also molds comfortably. There are zippers on the inner sides for putting them on, and the laces allow you to adjust the fit very well. So they work for both narrower and wider calves! Really lovely shoes for many occasions!

This model is the big sister, with a taller shaft, of the Hittimaiharit model named by the merchant sisters. 😊 The shorter-shaft Hittimaiharit model has sold extremely well at Bellissima in many different colors. Otherwise, the models are the same, but this model has a taller shaft.

Maria the merchant’s medium-width feet – details:

• Not a high instep and not a low instep
• A “flipper” shape, meaning the toes are almost equally long, with no pronounced curve at the toe line 😊
• Usually wears size 43, with a medium-wide G last or a wide H last
• Length of the longer foot: 26.5 cm
• Width at the ball of the foot: 11 cm

Size 42 of this model was good for Maria’s foot in terms of width. It felt slightly short in length, with her toes almost touching the end. Size 42 felt suitably snug on Maria’s foot, and the leather would certainly have given a little. However, because of the length, Maria would choose size 43; tightening the laces and adding an insole would make the next size fit comfortably.

Maria loosened the laces around the shaft until they were just right for her; Maria's calf circumference is 44 cm. The tongue of the shoe, meaning the width of the flap beneath the laces, was more than sufficient, so they would work for an even wider calf as well. Maria left the top holes unlaced so that she could tie the laces. That looked nice too and did not get in the way! Absolutely gorgeous combat boots!
